Dr. Philip Carinhas, President and CEO
Philip Carinhas
is the President and CEO of Fortuitous, and has over 15 years
experience with Unix, over 12 years with Linux, and over a dozen years
of teaching experience on both college and professional levels.
He holds a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Wisconsin.

Dr. Dominique Heger, Director, Performance Engineering
Dominique Heger
has over 20 years of IT experience, focusing on
systems performance, capacity planning, cluster technology, performance
modeling, algorithms and data structures, and I/O scalability. He worked
for IBM, Hewlett-Packard, and Unisys. Over the years, he published over 20
papers on systems performance related topics, and authored 3 core chapters
of Performance Tuning for Linux Servers.
He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from NSU, Florida.
